ABOUT SHADEN
Shaden is a Lebanese comedian, actress, and rebel whose fearless comedy has redefined stand-up across the Arab world. As the region’s first openly queer comedian, Shaden addresses what are still considered controversial issues for social change, such as female sexuality, homosexuality, racism, religion, and mental health in her shows.
Over the past several years, Shaden has performed to tens of thousands of audience members across the region, Europe and Canada. With her acclaimed stand-up specials, including “SHIAA SEEDS”, “Lakad Intaka el Wade3 لقد انتا* الوضع كلياً”, and “Khawater خواطر”, she has earned a devoted following for comedy that is as thought-provoking as it is hilarious.
